Getron has been a leader in the transport of carbon black since the nineteen sixties. We have all types of vehicles, certificates and well-trained drivers. That is why we are always able to offer the right lorry and guarantee transport according to the agreement.

We are the only company in the Netherlands that offer transport as well as storage of carbon black. We offer all requested types of trailers to that we can serve the entire market. Our personnel receives extra training in working cleanly and keeping the vehicles as well as the environment clean.

What is carbon black?

Carbon black is, in fact, partially combusted oil, but it is certainly not a waste product. Carbon black is commonly produced for tyre manufacturers due to its characteristics to make car tyres durable and elastic.

But there is also carbon black in the toner of laser printers, for example. There are many different types and each type has its own unique characteristics. The energy that is released in the production of carbon black is used to generate electricity.

About our trailers

We have forty trailers of four different types. For Michelin we generally work with hopper cars. Our low profile dumpers are used for most of the other tyre manufacturers. The high profile dumpers are very special vehicles, as are the double low profile dumpers. The volumes vary from 77m³ to a maximum of 88m³. The load capacities are up to 28 tonnes (Benelux). Unloading

Because carbon black does not tolerate pressure discharge, we use only gravity to unload. This ensures that the granules never break.

Our guarantees

Because carbon black is quite black, our personnel is specially trained to work cleanly and to keep the vehicles as well as the environment clean. Our ISO 9001 quality system also offers the necessary guarantees, such as, for example delivery guarantee.
