Genderens Transport Onderneming (Company) was founded on 1 March, 1951 in Spijkenisse, near Rotterdam. We started out with four vehicles back then.

We used these vehicles for moving and for transporting concrete products. The first lorries with flatbed trailers were introduced in 1953. Herrewijnen Heiwerken from Spijkenisse was one of the first customers we used them for.

Our expertise

Getron has grown into a leading transport company by now, with diverse clients all over the world. From multinational to local contractor: we do transports for everyone with the same passion and effort. With our three specialties: bulk transport, carbon black transport and heavy transport, we are able to serve the full scope of the entire market.

Client-focussed service

Many transporters are market-focussed in their solution. Our approach is very different, because we are client-focussed. Our question is: “What do you need?” and then we provide you with a quote that is in line with that. In other words, we offer customized service; for everyone.

Transport and storage of carbon black

We are the only company that transports and stores carbon black in the Netherlands. Our Dutch mentality is much appreciated by our international clients. We are hard workers, we are prompt and work strictly according to the rules and we offer openness and transparency.

Certificates and warranties

Reliability is our power. We don’t just say we live up to our commitments: we guarantee it. This is partly due to the certificates we have. We have always been ahead of our time in that respect: in the Netherlands we were the first transport company with ISO certification. More about quality standards.
